The trillion-dollar fraud - Bank Reform News | Obama Bank Reform Bill - Salon.com

This article speculates about how the FED may be planning to dump toxic CDO's on Freddy Mac and Fannie Mae and in so doing, put the bad debt on the backs of the US citizens. Read the article and see if you believe this is plausible scenario.

What might be enlightening is to learn the political slant that Solon has on this issue.

f you had watch congresses hearing and the many experts including geithener you woud have heard why it requries the banks to solve the problem. because the governmant neither has the experise or the money to do it. They are in fact actaully think about shutting Fadie and Fannnie down. That is why not much is bing dome to really sove the toxic asts problem is that after the bankrpusies of shrysler and GM ;no private fund wants to partner with teh federal governamnt has frst proposed. Its going to take a long time for the banks to work them thru the system now.

denninger had a good article today on this very subject:

....had these transcripts been released contemporary with the events, we might have avoided the worst parts of the housing bubble.

Had they been released before Bernanke's confirmation, he would have had to answer for what is clear intentional misdirection and misleading of The American Public.

What was the reason to not audit The Fed and force them to act in the sunlight again?

Is it so they can screw the American Public out of another $3+ trillion in wealth and cause another 8 million Americans to lose their jobs?

I think so.

Next (uncomfortable) question: You've read the recent Fed Statements and "minutes", right? Have you bought stocks, or stayed in the market, in whole or in part as a consequence of what you read? Now ask yourself: were you lied to again this time around?

The Fed's action are motivated by only one purpose, a transfer of wealth from ordinary taxpayers to the criminal banking cartel.

at least bernie sanders is still working to try and get the fed audited, along with, of course, ron paul.

the white house vehemently opposes this, of course.
