You may need to be familiar with people who worked for Grolier at that time or with narrators from that time in general. He narrated English courses for Grolier, and he may have narrated promos for McDonnell Douglas. I can provide names of these courses and links to his voice if you think you might be able to do it. I tried providing links to his voice before but people came up with celebrity voices that were way off, but he did sound a bit like John Forsythe, even though I doubt he was a celebrity at all.
