Yes, they are a well regarded private school and home schooling curriculum. The private school turns out top students.

We were considering signing up under Calvert's "charter" program.

There is a district in Texas that has some connection with them, and if you sign up with Calvert through that district -- the materials, service, etc. are all "free." Covered as a public paid education for anyone anywhere in Texas.
