I want to thank everyone for all their input! I have looked into the high school course offerings and they have 4 levels. AP, Honors, Regular and Developmental. My son is doing very well and his mid-quater report card has him at a 98 average with 100's in all core classes except math which is at a 91. He is currently reading at an 8th grade level and is in 6th grade. He is very happy at his current school and we have no intention of changing schools. My nieces that have graduated from the same high school have all been college bound and do well in college, so I will have to trust this will be true for my son as well.

Once again thank you all and wishing everyone a Happy New Year!
