Second only to McRaven's speech is Dr. Dexter Holland's USC-Keck Medical School commencement speech in 2017 on my favorites list. Frankly, it isn't even a sensational speech but more Holland is one of the most interesting people in the world IMO. He's one of the greatest punk-rockers ever as the lead singer and songwriter for the great SoCal punk band The Offspring. And he's a Ph.D microbiologist of legit standing in the research community.
Holland also has one of the funniest lines ever, I can't find the direct quote but this is close......"I had this driving/all consuming passion to take some time off from the band to complete my Ph.D so my friends would be forced to address me as, Doctor Dexter."
