I recently tried contacting a tutor on wyz ant website (she was the only one listed for Oceanography) but she must be so busy that she has not responded. I was wondering is there was any websites that offered virtual tutors online? Remotely? I need something quick. Also they can't be scams. Has anyone used one that they can recommend? I know many websites are scams.

If you are looking for a specialty like oceanography why don't you contact a University that has that major. I'm sure that a grad student would be happy to tutor you via Skype for some extra experience or for extra money.

I was able to have a tutor contact me through wyz ant...hopefully this helps. As for tutors specializing in Oceanography at my school, there are none for Oceanography, but the tutor I do have knows the math aspect of it. Many of these tutors are also students themselves, so their time is limited. Also its very difficult getting a one on one session as there are others always there during his hours. But it is free.
