Does anyone have firsthand or secondhand knowledge about the autism programs in Brookfield Ct? I read here that it was good but when I called they said they don't have an autism program at all. Does anyone know? They suggested Danbury. Anyone know of the program in Danbury? Thanks so much to you all
If you have an autistic child in Connecticut, and your child has a diagnosis from an M.D., your child has many legal rights. Supposedly Danbury, being a larger district, has more capability than Brookfield, but Brookfield should be reasonably well funded.
You will have better luck getting the information you are seeking in the Connecticut forum. Also there is a special needs subforum under the parenting forum.

Brookfield does not offer good special ed services at all. Look elsewhere if your children have special needs.
