When I was in high school, they tried to withhold the diploma of our "valedictorian" (we didn't actually call it that, since it was a private prep school) for printing a controversial article in the school paper. All hell broke loose, many parents threatened to withhold tuition payments, and they eventually backed down... she went on to attend Harvard, and IIRC is now a doctor.
Stupid prank, but worth destroying his future over it? I don't think so.

Yeah, it's idiotic. They don't like it, and they think it's wrong to go against the great, royal school system. Somebody needs to evaluate how schools are run, nationally. Administrators are getting ridiculous, and backwoods, morally.
I agree simply because if he gets by with it MANY more will follow disrupting the proceedings. He did not go far enough for criminal charges which would have been my first choice.
