We graduated in May 2012. That following August 2012, two kids who didn't graduate on time broke into the school at 4am and spray painted the names of teachers (with some obscene remarks) that didn't pass them. They wouldn't have gotten caught; however, one of them blabbed to a friend (who was later a witness) that he and his buddy spray painted the walls. The guy who blabbed to a friend was arrested again for probation violation. They're lucky it was only misdemeanors.
When I was in junior high school there was a math teacher who was about 30, quite good looking and single. He was killed in an automobile accident. His funeral was attended by a lot of students and most of the staff and faculty. Right before the service started one of the history teachers, who was weeping and wearing black, announced she had been secretly dating him. An English teacher, who was her roommate and best friend and who was also weeping said, "You've been dating him? I've been dating him!"
There was a lot of hair pulling and kicking. We had subs for weeks.
When my mom was in high school a male teacher got a cheerleader pregnant, and they ended up getting married. Things were different in the 70s, and no one got into trouble for it.
In my senior year one of my classmates mixed ADHD drugs with illegal drugs, went crazy, and hacked up his entire family with an axe. His parents both died. His little siblings lived but were horribly injured. He led the cops on a car chase all over town before they finally caught him too. He's been in prison ever since.

OMG!
I think that situation is the peak of "outrageousness".
