Not only did she put 11 students in her car, but what responsible adult puts a child in the trunk? This teacher should certainly not be teaching as she is incapable of making responsible decisions.
God, what a moron. Why not order pizza and have it delivered if she wanted to do something nice? Or go to Wal-Mart after school and bring candy in the next day for the students to enjoy? That was some seriously poor judgment on the part of an adult who should have known better.
Oh good Lord, how dumb. Stuff the car in the parking lot for a lark, fine. Drive around with kids in the trunk and no seatbelts? Lunacy. What if she got rear-ended on the way there? The parents must have been livid.
I once fit 8 of my friends into a mid-sized 2-door car when I was in high school. But I was one of the students, not the teacher.
From a safety standpoint, this was probably no more dangerous than someone (sometimes a coach at school) loading up 7-8 guys in the back of their pickup truck....something that was common when I was in high school.
Next time, instead of trying to stuff 11 kids in the car for a jaunt to the candy store, just go to the candy store yourself and bring back enough for 11 kids.
Same end result, w/o loss of job and your car will be cleaner, too.
