Anybody ever purchase any "learn to speak spanish" software i.e. Rosetta Stone, Rocket Spanish, Spanish Immersion Deluxe, etc.?? Which ones are good - my definition of good is the product comes with both software, audio, and some fun interactive games to learn - it teaches you how to speak correctly, as well as proper grammar. It also needs to be compatible with Vista and the audio stuff should be able to be downloaded to my MP3 player (no ipod stuff!!!!!) I have never taken spanish - so what gives you beginner to intermediate all wrapped in one? What gives you the most bang for your buck???
This thread could help me out, too. My co-worker is offering to teach me for $400 (total) or I can just go buy one of those Spanish-learning programs that the OP is referring to.
Can anybody enlighten us on whether these really work or not? I'd like to save money, but I need to learn spanish by the time I move.
The Rosetta Stone is excellent, we use it at my school to teach English to the kids arriving in the country for the first time.
