back in your school days , what was the worst excuse you came up with to miss school or for not doing homework?

I had a student tell me this: I had to watch American Idol last night and then vote for the 2 hours we are allowed for David Archletta.

My wife had a student not come to school because she was tired. She also had one who didn't come because he didn't want to.
