Hello,

My daughter and I are registering for the SAT for test date June 4th.

I live in Houston Texas and she is entering the 10th grade this fall 2016

She would like to attend University of Texas.

Please help with question below:

1. Screenshot by Lightshot What subjects do I need to take?
2. If I take SAT on June 4th, what all subjects will I be tested over?

Thank you,

I think its being asked why you (the O/P ) are taking the SAT's?

in addition to your daughter.

I would save the Prep For later just let her take the test to get the feel of it, Do the question of the day on the SAT website, There are other SAT (Free) prep question of the day sites & Apps she should do that for now.

Sophomore level SAT testing is not a good indicator of SAT final results. The SAT's are made for student on the HS JR (Spring) and HS SR (Fall) Level. I would save the $'s for SAT Prep for before JR year testing or between Jr/Sr testing.

Q: Did she take the PSAT's?

How did she do?

No Subject Level Testing yet, Just the General SAT's, Subject Level is for AP/Honors/IB, so you can get college credit for HS class taken already.

Generally the student takes the PSAT (As a practice test for the SAT's) in/around Freshman/Spring or Sophomore/Fall Terms now.

The Question on the PSAT are geared to that grade level.

In Years gone by PSAT were taken So/Sping - JR/Fall, with SAT JR/Spring & SR/Fall, But in the last 10-20 years its seem to have moved to FR/SO years.

She should not take the subject SAT's, just the SAT itself, which will cover math, reading, writing/language, and an optional essay.
