Schools have every right to set dress and grooming standards if they wish- just like each employer can do the same. Don't agree with them, go elsewhere. The mother was warned before, even twice I think. She didn't comply and have her sons hair cut to something to fit within the schools policy so it is her fault her kid was suspended

That's the same black-and-white approach I wish the schools would take in establishing policy. A more effective approach would be objectively based.
