Did anyone here go to the same school as their kids/ parents? (universities, kindergarten)

My daughter went to the same high school as I did, although she didn't graduate from it. (long story short, it worked out better for her to enroll in a G.E.D. program)
My three children graduated from the same high school as me 28, 28, and 30 years after I did. They collectively had three or four teachers as I did (though I think one or two of those teachers they had in middle school - same district but different building than when I attended). It was very interesting for me to be in the building for various events decades later, and to see how things had changed (and how the course material had gotten harder - yikes!).
They also went to two elementary schools that I attended, though I don't believe they ever encountered any of my former teachers there.
All three of my boys attended kindergarten at the same school I did. Not much had changed. I used to love my turns driving the milk cart to the cafeteria to pick up the cartons for snack time, and that cart as still in use 25+ years later. They did remove the metal playground equipment we had so much fun on, and replaced it with all sorts of structures made out of old tires. Those tires held water, bred mosquitoes, and always harbored a bee's nest or two.
No for me. For elementary through high school, I'm going guess this is most common in small towns or in parts of cities where not many people go off to college.
The other situation where I would bet it is not too uncommon would be the other end of the spectrum at some universities and elite private/boarding schools where being a legacy helps to get in.
