Are there good online congregating for educators? (school, principal, teachers)

I have an elderly neighbor, formerly a school superintendent, who's at loose ends and not on the internet at all except to occasionally check email, which are most pointless newsletters.

I was wondering, are there any good focused discussion places specifically for teachers, principals, and the like?

Has the neighbor shown an interest in such sites. I would think that something about retirement would be more interesting.

I'm retired and apart from this Forum and Bored Teachers I don't really care to talk about my former career.

Even Bored Teachers gets old because 90% of it is kvetching and complaining.
