I didn't realize it was behind a paywall because I am a regular subscriber to the newspaper.

But my intent was clear. As is yours -- to put down virtually anything I post. You rarely miss the opportunity.

It is paywalled. Most similar function under an algorithm that allows some number of net new viewers though.

I was allowed, "in" accidentally clicked out and wasn't allowed back in.

azcentral is the same as "The Arizona Republic" newspaper -- the main newspaper in Arizona -- and part of Gannett.

I had no intent since I didn't want to discuss it without reading the article. Hence I asked if anyone had a synopsis.

How would you have graded a student who put a title on a paper and then told you to "read the book" when you asked what his content and point of view were?

Not just Read-the-book", but the added barrier... Go find the book, then BUY the book (which you are not allowed to resell... Sunk cost in useless subscription to AZ local rag .

From the article:

Quote:
Arizona charter school students are performing below the U.S. average, according to a first-of-its-kind report that examined charter school student test scores on a national assessment over a 10-year period.
It points to the proficiency - or lack thereof - of the teachers and administration.

What is needed is an explicit national assessment of teachers and administrators.

I'm not a student and I wasn't writing a paper.
