Either k-12 or college years. Is there any topics that you say, "I sure wished I had learned that in school." or "I sure wish they would teach that in school!"

I am curious.

How to manage money.
How to express emotions.
How to manage emotions.
How to forgive.
How to live with integrity.
How to love unconditionally.
How to be loved unconditionally.
Nutritional value of foods.
Effects of nutrition, and lack of nutrition, on body and mind.
Effects of sleep, and lack of sleep, on body and mind.
Effects of anger, and relaxation, on body and mind.
How to live simply and not be a ferocious consumer.
Why to choose what you love, in everything.

Oh and for all those who say they wish they could have learned to manage their money. Well you can learn to do that over the internet with University of California: Irvine's open course ware version of personal financial planning. Check it out:

Fundamentals of Personal Financial Planning (http://ocw.uci.edu/courses/AR0102092/ - broken link)

Algebra
Money Management and less about the Bible
More about political world affairs and less about the Bible

In a nutshell, religion and athletics were heavily emphasized. Neither of which helped with getting into a good college.

I wish I could have paid more attention. They taught a lot of stuff, but I wasn't always in the right state of mind.

I wish they had a manatory reading list that we needed to complete. One English teacher had a list of "100 Books You Should Read Before College" but it was only stuck to a bulletin board--not even discussed, much less made to read. I'm still playing catch up at 30.

I wish I had learned more about European and World history in general. It wasn't until my kids had an AP European history class that I realized I had missed a whole chunk of information in my schooling. I think that there is an over-emphasis on US history at the expense of World History.
