The article says the school took those measures in the first place in response to this guys previous complaints. Sounds like they have bent over backwards trying to resolve the problem and be a good neighbor, yet the guy still complains.
I'm betting the guy bought the house one summer without giving a single thought to what the place would be like with school in session.

It is a FREAKING school! Kids play OUTSIDE and yes they get loud when they play as kids should be allowed to during their recess! Schools have field days and fitness days and other celebrations throughout the year and they should and they should not have to address anything.

The man is being totally unreasonable. It is like moving across from a park and complaining about kids being there . It sounds like he is from the same family of the couple that moved onto my street this past summer. This is a very kid friendly neighborhood. All the ads are full of 30 somethings with their kids and this couple is complaining about kids playing in front of their house in the culdesac and on the sidewalk. They clearly didn't do their research.

And what exactly are they supposed to do? Never do any outside events? It is a school for crying out lound. Kids are lound during recess and field day and other events, and they should be allowed to do so.
