Hi i'm from England and the schooling system is alot different to the US.
We have nurseries (4 and under)
Primary Schools (4-11 yrs)
High Schools (11 - 16 yrs)
College (16+)
University (18-20 something)

What is it in the US. I want to know this because i am thinkin of becoming a foreign exchange student when i am 18, i am 16 now, but when i am 18 what would be the best thing for me to do?

Pre-K - Under 5
Elementary - grade 1-5 (Age 6-10)
Middle - grade 6-8 (Age 11-14)
High - grade 9-12 (Age 15-->18)
College - Age 18--> old..

Just wait until they insult you by asking that you take TOEFL!

Also remember that here in the U.S., aside from a few states where you have to establish yourself as a resident for at least a year, college is VERY expensive.

Yes, you would be enrolling in a college or university. We have 2 year community colleges, 4 year (or more) universities and colleges, and trade schools.
