What does dog drop mean?
A café named Dog Drop (yes,in english) has opened in my home town, but they can't possibly mean dropping, can they?
It has to mean something else too.

My first thought is "dog droppings," but I don't imagine that would be a very good name for a cafe, LOL.

I wonder if they mean "hair of the dog," which basically refers to having more alcohol the day after you drink a lot in order to ward off a hangover? Is this a bar? That is the only thing I could think of that would make any sense....

I think it's just coffee and pastries. It's a place for dogs and their owners where the dogs are treated as customers too.
But that's not an excuse to name it after excrements.

Dogs "drop" to the ground when they're tired and want a rest. I'm betting it's just referring to a place where the dog can relax.

I don't think there is any special meaning to the name, other than dogs are welcome to "drop in" for a snack with their owners.

Ahh, I did not realize that it was a place for dogs and their owners, LOL! Yes, it just means that dogs can drop in. I assumed that it was a place for just people.
