That is easier said than done. Part of the problem is many parents wait until kids already have so much misinformation about sex before they decide to talk to them about it. I know no one told me about sex until I already knew about it of course much of it was incorrect.
WANDERLUST76 I blame parents and the media as well. Have you seen some of the tv shows that are supposed to be geared towards kids? The music videos that they play between the hours of 3pm-6pm? Kids have access to the internet on cellphones. You may monitor your child but what about the kid at school that has one and is showing inappropriate pictures from them. My brother-in-law works at a teen center and he has seen it all from younger kids to older kids.
I was watching a commercial with a woman in a little bikini being very sexual and guess what she was selling, ALMONDS! I kid you not. Everything is about selling sexuality. So we as parents need to make sure that kids are informed with the correct information because it can mean the difference between life and death nowadays. When I was younger we didnt have all this technology that kids have today.
