Thought you mind find this interesting...Not sure how El Paso ties to the Blue Beetle Comic...but this is for a possible slot on the CW.

Ah, yes. I kept forgetting to start a thread about that. There is an older Blue Beetle thread here somewhere. The current Blue Beetle character is named Jaime Reyes and the entire story takes place in El Paso, Texas. The comic book ran for about three years or so. Blue Beetle also appears in the latest Batman cartoon series on Cartoon Network and El Paso has also appeared there too. LOL, lets just say the comic book is far more fairthful to El Paso than the cartoon series. There have been previous versions of Blue Beetle but it appears the television show in development is based on Jaime Reyes. I haven't confirmed if the show will be based in El Paso or not.

Oh yeah, even though that youtube video says official tv series, that is simply test footage and not anywhere near a completed scene. The show is in development and has not been green-lit.

thanks for that info MB. Yeah I remember seeing Batman with Blue Beetle on that cartoon a while and was wondering who the heck that was.
