Aggies - no bowl game in 50 years.

Anything else I should know to bluff my way through conversation? I doubt I'll have any bragging rights after the 18th.
I think you have to clarify which Aggies. For a while there I though you were talking about A&M instead of NMSU. I guess I am just used to everyone in Houston area assuming that Aggies = Texas A&M.

The NMSU Aggies have played spoiler to UTEP's season many times. In both basketball and football. You can throw their records out the window when they play.

It is definitely regional. Around here, Aggies mean NMSU. In the WAC, Aggies mean Utah State. I am sure there are a few more.

I know. I just spend to much time around TAMU "aggies" now.

Good luck Miners for every game this season except tonight I'm a UH grad and I work with a few UTEP grads so today is interesting.

By the way, on the UH sports messageboard, you all have a 'representative' with the handle 'CoogFansLoveBuckram.' You guys definitely get points for originality!

If only the Houston performance by itself was the problem...as much as I catch UTEP games, it was the "same ol' same ol'" tonight.

Well, I predict a 6-6 season.
Defense once again being the problem.
The next 3 games shouldn't be a problem, but I don't know about the rest of the schedule.

UTEP will not win their next 3 games. Mike Price is our coach and he's proven he can't get the job down anymore. UTEP will lose 1 or 2 of those 3 "winnable" games.
