That's when it's a good time to have Juarez or NM or fake dealer plates. It's only the law abiding who register their cars here that get the red light tickets.

Red light cameras in El Paso – Off the Kuff
Vehicles with Mexican license plates accounted for less than 1 percent of the red-light violations. The owners of vehicles with international plates cannot be cited under this program because police say their license plate information can’t be tracked.

At 10,000 citations - 27 citations/day - the worst (best?) intersection is Redd/Resler. I believe most of those are cars not doing a complete stop before turning right.

Ouch. $50? I still haven't received one in the mail from my Dec. 22 deal, so maybe I got over on the city this time, though it was a close call, I'll have to review the video footage.

$50 hurts the pocket books. It is not a fun thing. I don't understand what you mean by the city getting away with it?
