A local radio report yesterday said that police were called to disturbances at the bar over 250 times last year - that's two out of every three nights. That's too much. The owner can't control his crowd and doesn't know when to cut them off.

I heard that this morning. 250 times is unbelievable. I usually side with business owners but that is too much. How can he say he is surprised?

I live 5 blocks from the 3 Legged Monkey and I can attest to the problems in the area. I usually find broken bottles, possibly thrown from moving vehicles, in my driveway. Speeding cars is a factor also. It seems like when they leave the establishment they decide to rev their engines and race down Hawkins. I live quite a few blocks down. Imagine the people who live in direct proximity to the 3LM? I am all for having entertainment in the area and it saddens me that they might have to move. I wish the owner had better control of the situation, but it's really not his fault. Once the patrons have left he has no control over their actions.
