I like Taco Bell.

JUST KIDDING ---- although I do like it. I prefer the cheap Mexican food places that you find all over. Good Coffees are in a number of places and you can get a good lunch or dinner for not too much. I like some of the cheap Mexican restaurants on Doniphan. Pasadita has very good posole and breakfasts. Las Fuentes has good enchiladas, gorditas and if you like cilantro, you might like their fresh salsa but the prices are especially good. Lupitas on Doniphan of course for tamales, but the price has gone up. Even still you can find a line 3 blocks long for Christmas Eve tamales there.

I loved Leo's but it's gone.

There's one on Hondo Pass in the Northeast that's good. Angie's or something.

My grandmom used to like KiKi's when she lived in Central but I never really did. Oh. I did like this place that was in both Central and EAst El Paso. Little place. They had amazing gorditas (my all time favorite). I'll have to ask my aunt what it was called...

Only the NE location is gone. They have others on the east and west side. They actually just opened another location on the far east side off of Zaragoza and Joe Battle.

I love The Riviera (the Riv) on Doniphan too. Best salsa, best tacos and so much more.

Avilas on Mesa has the best Chile con Queso though.

Griggs was an all time favorite but they closed - at least the west side closed.

There are too many Mexican restaurants in El Paso to mention as being real good MExican food...after leaving EP at the age of 19 and going all over the world...I can honestly say that El Paso is the MExican food capital of the world...!

My personal favorite is Carnitas Queretaro. They have several locations around El Paso, all with the same menu. Very good prices, too. Love their barbacoa.
