Does anyone have recommendations with butcher shops? I eat a lot of meat and I'm trying to find one that would have GRASS FED beef and other organic, cage-free products. (Yes, I'm that guy.)

I saw a little bit of this in my first visit to Sprouts, but I'd rather go straight to a butcher shop and stock up.

Paleo? Your best options are to go directly to the farmers. I know that many people use PowerRanches | 100% Organic Beef and a few others. They set-up at the farmers market at Ardovino's Desert Crossing.

I did use the Farmer's Market and the beef was great, but even more expensive than I can pay for on a regular basis. Going to look into going quarters on a steer.

Blerg, I found out that Cielo Vista Natural Store has grass fed beef in it's fridge. I did not price compare though. Just wanted to let you know!

Also, if you contact some of the Crossfit gyms in town they are all about grass-fed beef and local farm life.

Here is an event that will be locally at the Miller Horse Farm. I competed last year, but will be unable to this year. FarmFit - Takin' It To The Country My family and I had a great time and all proceeds go to local farms. I believe it will be bigger and better this year and last year was a blast!!!

I would suggest you go by and check it out!
