I have had a busier than normal August and did not have a chance to mention this. This is another one of those El Paso gems. The world's largest class film festival. Don't think that has gone unnoticed. This is an industry leading film festival. Other are starting to pop up around the nation. Let's help keep our festival the world's biggest!

I have been going to this Classic Film Festival this week..I have seen world class flims like Ben Hur, West Side Story, and War of the Worlds...it is not that expensive...most of the people attending have been older tan me..!

The same can be said for listening to Vivaldi's Four Seasons at a symphony or listening to a CD at home. The content is the same but the experience is a world of difference.

I tried to go see The Quiet Man this afternoon, but my parking plans totally bombed out (too many people had the same idea I did, and they got there first: no spaces left).

Maybe next year.
