It would appear the snow total will top 7 inches recorded at the EP International Airport/National Weather Service Center. The most since the early ninties. And it was the best kind....wet.

Unfortunately, the snow will make a mess with all the bushes and trees and will we loose most of our fall garden but he snow was a good, early Christmas gift. You should see all tthe snowpeople in the Cielo Vista Park area. On the Eastside , the snow stuck and it is beautiful to look at.. enjoy everyone.

Just so you guys know i posted this thread with the pictures over on the New Mexico threads as some out of state people wanted to see snow pictures somewhere in New Mexico. We didn't get anything that stuck on the ground here in Albuquerque although the mountains are covered.

As long as we dont have to have a tug of war to see were it snows the most Albuquerque or El Paso, the Duke city can keep the tundra environment all to themselfs, a little snow never hurt anything anyway as long as you dont try to drive in it.

Default Old Man Winter Comes To The Desert

Great pics, guys. It's quite to sight to see a desert city with snow. It's especially funny when the palm trees get icicles on them!

Here are a few pictures I was able to get this morning of the mountains from my backyard.

This is what was left of the snow this morning, but it has been melting quickly. The snow is almost all gone now, which is something I love about El Paso, we get snow, but it goes away pretty fast.

The tomatoes will probably survive because the snow may have stopped them from freezing. Fantastic mountain views. Thanks for the pictures.
