Violet, who is saying that? The City does not own the Asarco land. At least they didn't when the baseball stadium was being built.

The website is just poorly put together and the poor photography of the area does not help. The purpose of the website is to generate interest in this city and show off the good aspects. The supposed "trivial" negative findings serve as a determent to this objective.

Say for example you are a researcher seeking funding for your project/research. The idea behind the presentation is great, however the presentation itself is poor. This particular predicament would bring investors to question the competency of the researcher, and possibly wonder if their money would be squandered.

MountainStar is looking at development opportunities at the Asarco lands. UT System execs tour old Asarco site - MountainStar Sports Group also interested
