Dick is a lot older. I think they clipped the "Hi folks, I'm Dick Poe" parts from 20 year old commercials. But yes, I love the Casa Nissan commercials (many on YouTube).

You mean the commercials for Los Cuñados Nissan? That's how I see those silly commercials. A little annoying.
Los Cuñados because the dudes are Hispanic and Casa is owned by the Kemp family.
The Kemp family, I think had the first Ford dealership in EP and they had their lot up on Mesa street at one time and then moved it closer to the downtown EP area and changed the name from Kemp Ford to Casa Ford.
My parents in 1968 bought a new 1969 Ford when we were kids and I remember driving with them down to Montana street to where the Casa Ford lot was back then.

Then the son of Dad Kemp took over the operations for Casa Ford and now his son, the grandson of Mr. Kemp, who does the silly commercials for Casa Ford is learning how to run the whole show.

So obviously from what we see, Son of Dad Kemp married an Hispanic and now the "cuñados" of the Son of Grand Dad Kemp are running Casa Nissan or Los Coñados Nissan.
Cuñados, for those who don't know, is the Spanish for brothers-in-law.

I think you are confused, MT. The Casa brand is owned by the Lowenfield family since 1969. It was El Paso Ford before that on Montana downtown. The Kemp Ford store was on Mesa near Executive. I remember when it was Fulwiller Ford back in the '50s. I think they had their store on Texas Street with all the other car companies including : A.B. Poe, Porter Pontiac, Nance Buick, LoneStar Cadillac-Chevy, Casner Olds was on Wyoming. Watkins Chevy ( where my parents bought cars) was on San Antonio, now where the night spots around the depot are now. I happen to know the Lowenfield family and they are good people. I am sorry that I never could buy a car from them as we liked Hondas.
