Hello, this is a rather typical inquiry. I'm planning a move into EP, near the end of April. Does anyone know if there are 1 bedroom accommodations for seniors? I'm a veteran and I'd like to be relatively close to the VA hospital. However, I am quite mobile and driving is not an issue. On the other hand, I do enjoy public transit. Do you have fairly efficient bus service in EP? I would imagine the weather is rather hot and dry as opposed to hot and humid, is that an accurate assessment. Thanks, for the assistance it is appreciated.

There are several senior living l
Places around town. And a lot ofcapartments. We do have a bus system called Brillo.
Weather is usually dry and hot in summer but have a monsoon season where afternoon storms can be more common. I think that us aug/sept. I've lived in FL and GA and find our heat is much more tolerable. As long as you are in the shade it isn't bad, and nights are pleasant.
There is quite a bit to do here with free daily wine tasting at the wine vineyards in the upper valley, plaza film festival that runs for a month playing classic films all month, free concerts in the park all summer at chamizal park with a variety of music, and numerous events, as well as a new AAAbaseball stadium.
Th ere isn't as much stuff in the NE close to the VA hospital, so you might look into the west side or even east side.
