I absolutely detest the weather in El Paso. Too cold in winter, cold enough to kill beautiful plants and so damn dusty and windy in the spring. It's like living in Mars. My skin dries up and ny lips too. It's way too dry. People are also very unattractive and fat. Nobody walks, everyone drives. It's stuck in the 70s without any real progress. Wages are terrible too. Dont move here. Texas has way prettier cities.

As someone who has had to deal with humidity, I'll take dry heat over swamp humidity the rest of the state and South have to deal with.

And too cold in the winter?! What? How is averaging in the mid 50s during the winter with maybe one day of snow a year cold? If you're comparing El Paso to Miami maybe...

And as an Expat of El Paso, I miss the mountains. The mountains are absolutely beautiful, were amazing to hike on, and is something El Pasoans take for granted.

the spring winds can be nasty, I agree

"kill beautiful plants" -- no. Only if you try to plant things that don't do well here. there are many, many wonderful native and hardy adaptive plants to choose from.

"fat and unattractive" -- LOL, shallow much? I enjoy the warm and friendly people here, and look deeper than physical appearance

Curropt legal system, Curropt elected officials. If you don’t speak Spanish you will not be treated fairly. And last but not least most people there (not all) are very dishonest

I've been here since 96. The contractors I use are trustworthy. I could leave cash on the counter, and they would put it in a drawer and call to tell me where they put it. I often give them keys to my homes and have absolutely no doubt that everything will be there when I return.
I speak very little Spanish. Never been treated unfairly.

Maybe you should read about the laws of attraction..

El paso as with most border towns in Texas are really interesting places. Not quite like Mexico but not quite like America either. A strange mix of both.

I've been through El Paso a couple times on road trips and had a very good steak dinner at Cattlemen's. I remember it being way out in the middle of nowhere and thought on the way there if I taken the wrong turn somewhere. LOL!!

I think in the 1990s, El Paso had noticeably higher obesity levels than many other U.S. cities. My impression is that much of rest of America has largely caught up...
