Hi.......I'm on the UTEP faculty and I have just moved to Las Cruces. I'm looking at the possibility of paying my way to ride with someone who makes a daily round trip from LC to EP Monday, Wednesday and Friday (everyday during the summer sessions). hello -- i presently live in el paso on the west side. i am recently widowed and have been contemplating a move to las cruces because after 5 months, the ghosts are still stronger than i am. please tell me your take on las cruces life as opposed to relatively quiet life on the west side in a nice community. i'm self-employed, and digging to find out what i need to know about state income taxes. never paid them, having lived only in florida and texas. if you know anything about state income taxes, please let me know, too. if you're a long-time resident there or know the geography well, i'd like to ask quite a few questions. thanks much for your response.
