Hi Everyone, I am excited and scare at the same time about moving to El Paso. I fear been lost and can't find my way around. I suppose to be living on Fort bliss post. I like to get my hair and nails done and I just wonder do any of you know some good hair stylists at a fair price. I am African American so you know it take a little more for our hair texture. I hope to meet some lady friends that can show me around town.

Thanks

Everyone in our family goes to Hair Play. It's right outside the Cassidy gate. I got my hair done there and loved it. I'm white though. DH is African-American and gets a pretty good fade there and they have a girl that does braids and things like that.

I ALWAYS went to Step Above beauty salon on Dyer Street. It's owned by Monique (who did my hair every since I was a teen). She's the BEST in El Paso when it comes to African American hair. Tell her Nicole said hi.

Default Beauty 2 Go

Hi There,

I would recommend Beauty to Go. Its really neat because this salon comes to you. The lady's name is Renee and her number is 361-779-5899. Hope this helps. She has come to me several times and I have always enjoyed her services.

I was wondering if anyone knew the name or possibly number to this salon owned by Atlanta Hair Stylists. It's for African Americans, and they had an add in the FB Monitor last year, and I misplaced the info. I know they do waxings and the whole nine. If anyone knows any info, please reply. THANKX!

Oh ok, thanks sweetie, but I don't think that's the correct salon. I don't know if it's even listed anymore, but I've taken a look at that one also. I believe the other salon was " A touch of Atlanta" or a touch of something lol I don't think they're even listed cause I've been lookin for weeks now. I appreciate the help though. I will give Genuine Style a try. Thanx a bunch!!
