Where is the best place after work to stop by and get a margarita or mojito for a happy hour?

Mojitos in El Paso? Doubt you'll find those here. Gotta go to the 305 for that. For margaritas, I recommend Forti's. 321 Chelsea St. b/t I-10 and Paisano.

Forti's service sucks, but their food is great.

Koobah on Mesa actually used to make some damn good mojitos.

For margaritas I am always kind of a big fan of Barriga's.

The location off of I-10 on El Paso's far East side provides for some awesome ones. They must include though a seat on the outdoor patio with some awesome vistas (huge palm trees, long views far to the south).

It used to be the Kentucky Club over in Juarez where supposedly it was invented, I don't know if that place is still open or not.

Why wouldn't you find a good mojito in El Paso? all you need is a good rum, fresh mint, lime, and raw sugar....there was a place off Mesa St. across from utep which had great mojitos, but that was so long ago that I don't even remember the name...but it was in that same shopping plaza where the old sound warehouse used to be.

When I was last in Juarez last year, it was still there.
