Hey,

Man I love how El Paso is looking right now.. good bye Brown, Hello Green! Every where you look El Paso is Green, flowers blooming, birds chirping, the slight humid days, and the afternoon night rains.. This is how I wish El Paso was all the time.

Yeah starting to notice that as well. It sure beats the dry hot windy days doesn't it. Heck August is our wettest month and we still got 11 days left in July.

I used to love to drive to Sierra Blanca a week, or two after heavy rains to see that entire area turn green. Amazing, and smelled great! The rain also brought out the tarantulas for some reason. In fact, when I was a kid and Yarbough was the end of El Paso, we used to go east of there, I think it was Lomaland, no construction whatsoever, just a road. Anyway, you would always find tarantulas on the road.

Mine were doing well at first, the heat of June kind of stunted them, stopped the flowers but now they're taking off. Same for the pepper plants.

Went to the Diablos game tonight expecting it not to rain but instead it poured and it was suspended. However when driving to Cohen Stadium it has been a while since Ive seen the Franklin Mountains and the surrounding terrain that green since 06. Tonights rains will only make it better. Maybe in 500 years El Paso will turn into a lush green rainforest? LOL
