Just a bit of trivia, ZZ Top's "I Heard It On The X" is a tribute to the "Border Blaster" radio stations in Mexico.

Muhnay, are you referring to Bobby Q's? That's been gone for quite some time. I believe there is a Ciro's there currently.

Has anyone been to the Pizza Inn that has opened on Yarbrough at Towne East Plaza?

I think all of the Griggs restaurants have closed, but a longtime chef of the westside location has been given permission to use the Griggs family recipes at his restaurant on Doniphan.

On a related note, there is a restaurant at the site of the original Griggs on Doniphan that seems to be getting positive reviews.

We finally have a Chipotle!

Since we're putting out lists:

Wyatt's Cafeteria @ Bassett CENTER
Furr's Cafeteria @ Sunrise (saddened to see this close recently)
A&W on Copia by the railroad tracks
Hamburger House on North Loop and Carolina (is this the same as the one on Carolina near Giles?)
Dairy Cup and Campus Queen (hangouts from my days at Austin HS)
Casa Martinez on Piedras where El Toro Bronco is now
Alejandro's (I remember the original location on Piedras where Papa Burgers is now)
Del Camino Restaurant (although I recall the bullfighting museum more than the actual food).

Oh, I almost forgot: Pancho's Mexican Buffet. Even the Albuquerque restaurant has closed. Sure, there are better buffets out there, but this was the only one that brought back childhood memories for me.
