I had read they won't open on westside b/c historically restaurants that work on the eastside and opened also on the west don't make it. This is what the brothers said in the article.

Best Chicos? They're all horrible.

And yet I can't seem to get enough of it....After a few days without it, I start jonesing for the green sauce like some kind of drug addict. And it ain't dinner without a Chicos hotdog thrown in.

I wish they would put one further out in Northeast.

So, they're banking on a superstition? What a lame excuse. They have the brand-name, they virtually control the market for rolled tacos in sauce, they tightly guard their trade secrets. A west-side Chico's would be a smashing success. How about on Doniphan somewhere?

Google Map of Chico's Tacos locations:
chico's tacos, el paso, texas

I haven't tried them yet. My wife, who's from here, refuses to go. She says she'll sit in the car & wait if I want to go in.

She makes it one post without bragging or mentioning it and you just had to remind her. We were so close...

Oh and on topic the one on Alameda is best (of the worst food IMO).

Even if you do not like the tacos and/or sauce, the hot dogs are pretty good.
