El Paso IFL team introduces new head coach

El Paso IFL team introduces new head coach - El Paso Times

This is really cool!! This is really awesome. Interesting to keep track of this.

Maybe the people of ELP can vote for an arena of some sorts. Downtown would be really cool...it really needs some kind of sports venue to revitalize it!!! GO ELP!!!

I wonder what the team name is gonna be. EL Paso Jalepenos? LOL just kidding.

I hope everyone that is interested in this actually shows up to a game or two. Too many people complain about UTEP athletics but never attend a game. Every ticket sold helps.

El Paso's IFL franchise unveils team name, logo - El Paso Times

I hope these guys don't turn out as bad as the Rumble were a few years back.

These dudes only lasted one year and went 0-16 back in 04.

I like the logo and the TEAM name. I think that will bode well for El Paso. They just need to find a place to play other than the barn.. or they will die quick here.

It's all about promotion and how they treat the fans. The Buzzards thrived at the Coliseum.

Yes they did, until the city bent them over and gave them a cactus *****. So now you know why I am concerned with anything else in the BARN. They Thrived to some extent.. they were looking at moving out near COHEN back in the day.. but they could not get the funds to do so.. too bad.. I miss hockey in El Paso.

Actually, the final straw was when they were going to build their own arena on their dime in west El Paso. All they wanted was first dibs on the land around the arena. The City said no because the owners would make too much money. Thank goodness that city council is long gone.
