Wouldn't mind it if I lived by a beach.

But beach areas tend to get hurricane winds and Tsunamis. We just get some wind.

Well I don't mind the wind because I think it's blowing out the cold weather which we've had too much of - and blowing in some warmth. Wind is a sure sign of spring.

I don't mind wind either. But no sane person likes wind mixed with dust and sand hitting your face like a sand blaster. If you claim to do you are lying to yourself.

Starting to think I'd rather take my chances with those than this wind. Atleast you get to go boating with that beach.

I don't find the winds in EP that bad. We lived in CenTex nine years and the winds start there in Jan and don't end until March or April.

If I rememeber right, it was 2007 that there was a massive brushfire when we lived up at Fort Hood. We had to evacuate.

Sand and dirt being blown including brown outs really don't bother me, running from a brushfire does!

But then again I am partial to this area because I adore EP and it is in the number one place for us to retire to when he retires in about five years. (Love me some EP )
