For one I think el paso would benefit a lot from building a venue like albuquerque's journal pavilion or somewhere where music festivals could be held. I mean for God's sake we're one of the gateways into texas for events and musical acts coming in from nm, arizona, and Cali. You'd think we'd have a lot more events coming through.

Do you think a racetrack, sort of NASCAR type would do well? I know the economy is affecting the Sprint Car Series, but I always see the trucks en route from Dalls (?) to Phoenix or CA driving in a caravan through El Paso.

I don't think so, El Paso has a really bad track record when it comes to promoting sports teams or sports venues of any kind. It's sad to say but we're kinda fickle when it comes to supporting local teams and sports events. But then again it could attract alot of nascar fans from south of the border; motor sports are actually pretty big there meh who knows?

Put a big new Six Flags on the site where Asarco is now and include a big outdoor music ampitheater.

Also, lift the restrictions at Hueco Tanks so climbers from all over the world will start returning there to climb. Too many now consider it closed since its become so restricted.

What they should do is make a theme park/Arena style area with a shopping complex,
Like what Disneyland and Universal Studios has, a giant outdoor shopping mall and a theme park associated with it. And add an arena to the other end
