Today was felt great!! I walked my son to school.
I also planted me a little garden in the back yard a few tomatos, peppers now I just hope the sun will not kill them.

I wish it was this way all year round.

It also makes a difference that the high desert/mountain air has big temperature drops at night that cool things down, unlike over there where the night is almost as warm as the day.

yes, and the poster who said they liked the humidity over the dry heat ~ thats great, LOL, but I can honestly say that is the FIRST time in my whole 35 years that I have EVER heard someone say they prefer the humidity over dry heat hehehe hehehe. The humidity just sucks the life force right out of ya.......even at night ~ there is nothing like sticking to the sheets at night hehe.

((( no offense meant to the ones who prefer humidity!!!xoxoxox)))

I will take the dry heat any time, any day, over humidity and heat :0)

There weren't many things I didn't like about my time in El Paso, but those spring winds, man they could be brutal. I remember working at a site near old logan heights and the wind was just whipping and our boss wouldn't call off work. We stood there with gobs of mucous and sand and dust streaming from our noses, sneezing like crazy for a couple of hours, before he finally relented.

And yeah keeping your car clean - or your home for that matter, is a chore, if not impossible. I remember sand piling up in the doorways and window sills.

From what I'm told the Windy Season is almost over and there's basically no wind in the summer.

You should see the disgusting green both of my cars have over here....the tree pollen in Germany is going nuts! I thought I had a blue Mustang and a black Jeep.....no...just a crummy green. I'll be damned if I'm going to shell out 10 bucks for each daily to get them washed....the city won't let me wash the cars myself with a hose in my area of town....they go a bit overboard on pollution laws.
