Hi All,

I'll be getting stationed at Ft. Bliss this coming spring and will be looking into renting a nice 3-4 bedroom home. My wife and I are taking a little "scouting" trip to El Paso later this month and would like to set up meetings with one or two realtors. I'm just wondering if anyone out there has any opinions (one way or another) regarding real estate agencies or property management companies in the area?

Thanks!

We were happy with Benchmark:
Benchmark Realty-El Paso.com - Realtor and Property Management, Properties for Rent, Properties for Sale

Another local management company is RentalNetwork:

Note: some homes have swamp coolers (evaporative coolers) & others a/c. Swamp coolers are more prevalent because they are cheaper to buy but a/c (refrigerated air) keeps you cooler and less muggy.

Thank you Mr. Siete. I'll definitely look into those. Anyone happen to know anything about DKD Realty or Haggerty Century 21? Those were a couple others in the area who seemed to have a lot of nice rentals available.

My relatives had property that were managed by H. Century 21. From a landlord's perspective, they were a disaster! Don't know about the tenant side.

Hmmm, that's no good. Do you recall any specific issues? Wondering if the problems were due to bad management or bad tenant.

They had problems with bad tenants and C21 was not helpful.
