Wink Best Places to Munch in EPT

KOREAN- "Seouls" on 9549 Dyer Street ... will always take the lead for me as best in korean..guaranteed to make anybodys day!

and "Young Vin's" on 5600 Dyer Street not too far behind... also bringing their own flavor to the plate!!! if you find yourself around the discount mall and in the mood for some oriental give this place a try..

CHINESE- "China Wok" on 2000 North Lee Trevino Drive Lee Trevino
so far the closest thing to real chinese food that i have ever tasted in El Paso.. "overall" well made chinese food.. i get mine too go!!!

CHINESE BUFFETS- "Grand China Buffet" and "Hong Kong Buffet"
make your choice!!!

MEXICAN- "Taqueria La Pila" on 8714 Alameda Avenue is a beast for real authentic mexican flautas..covered in a great bandera sauce a.k.a red for salsa de tomate, white for crema & green for guacamole..

"Fortis Mexican Elder Restaurant" on 321 Chelsea Street the best salpicon served only at this restaurant...part of the movie "Committed" starring Heather Graham,Luke Wilson,Casey Affleck & Mark Ruffalo was filmed here...

"Taco Real" on 1160 Airway Boulevard
the best mexican buffet in el paso... evrything on the line is made too perfection...i could always count on some good menudo here....aint nothing missing..

"Bonny's Cafe" on 10750 North Loop Drive
The Biggest Burritos in the city!!! These burritos are always the best in any which you may choose..My personal favorite "Brisket & Barbacoa"

ITALIAN- "Sorrentos" on 5325 Dyer Street man thee ambience here is terrific..best place to take someone special out for a bite...candlelights on!! pizza to die for...

AMERICAN- " TugBoat Fish & Chips" on 5501 Dyer Street... this spot is killer for some good fried goodies... from zuccini to prawns, fish, chips & calamari!!! can not get enough of this place.. you must try!!!!

"Smitty's Pit BBQ" on 6219 Airport Road so far the best bbq anything here in the west texas...In comparison to Bill Miller's or Granzine's San Antonio Texas...Saddle up!!

"Surf Club" on 2224 East Yandell Drive... best place to wine & dine by the bar!! Nice peaceful ambience...

"Track One" on 1330 Robert E Lee Road the best wings in town!!!! hands down!!!!!

"Cattlemens Steakhouse" on best steakhouse out by the fabens deserts..well worth the drive... hayride & wildlife included where else can you find that??

"The State Line" on 1222 Sunland Park Drive also has an outstanding bbq selection...the homemade bread & mushrooms are to die for!!! Awesome Place

mexican: lucy's diner mesa and california
chinese: linn's buffet (they have great sushi) and peking garden on trawood for off the menu
bbq: rib hut by cincinatti
now i'm just curious what "american" food is because other than hot dogs and burgers, i can't think of anything else american (bbq is it's own category)

I think Americans have cooped all the other types of food. For example, we have olive garden and pf Changs but they are not really Italian or chonessw foods

Lucy's is the best Mexican food on the Westside of the mountain!! It is located inside the King's X on Mesa. Awesome food.

On the eastside I love Carlos and Mickey's.

I was hoping his new place would be just as successful.
I tried a new French restaurant downtown a few weeks ago. I can't recall the name of it, but the food was excellent.

Everything is good. Except we don't have one decent gyros place. Come on, someone from Chicago please retire here and open up a gyros restaurant. Please!! Gyro meat, onions, tomatoes, sauce on a pita bread.
