I was knee-deep in snow a couple of times when I lived in El Paso. Most of the time, if it snowed, which wasn't often, you could see the grass right through it.

Anytime the Franklin Mountains or El Paso gets a good dusting of snow, it makes a great scenery. Hopefully this is just a sample of what we could be in for since it is El Nino season. The snow after Thanksgiving 07 was something else.

Back on topic, I hope it is very cold this winter and I want more snow but we probably won't get much more.
