So not much if any snow accumulation expected in town, but some in the surrounding mountains and hills is expected (more so in Guadalupe and Davis mountains much farther east).

Funny thing is according to the below forecast (extrapolating from it), saying Davis and Guadalupe mountains could get more than 8+ inches on Sun and Mon night, possibly a foot?

We'll see...

PRECIPITATION WILL CONTINUE TO DEVELOP ACROSS THE REGION SUNDAY NIGHT AND MONDAY AS THE UPPER LEVEL STORM SYSTEM APPROACHES. THE AIRMASS IS EXPECTED TO BECOME SUFFICIENTLY COLD FOR A WINTRY MIX OF RAIN... SLEET AND SNOW POSSIBLE ACROSS THE GUADALUPE AND DAVIS MOUNTAINS... UPPER TRANS PECOS REGION AND THE WESTERN PERMIAN BASIN... WITH SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF ONE TO THREE INCHES POSSIBLE SUNDAY NIGHT.
ANOTHER CHANCE FOR SNOW WILL OCCUR MONDAY NIGHT INTO TUESDAY AS THIS THIS WINTER STORM SYSTEM PROGRESSES. SNOWFALL ACCUMULATIONS UP TO TWO TO FOUR INCHES... WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS IN THE MOUNTAINS... WILL BE POSSIBLE ACROSS MUCH OF WEST TEXAS AND SOUTHEAST NEW MEXICO MONDAY NIGHT INTO TUESDAY. PERIODS OF FREEZING RAIN WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE ACROSS THE DAVIS MOUNTAINS AND ALONG THE INTERSTATE 10 CORRIDOR MONDAY NIGHT.

actually El Paso may get some decent accumulations by Monday Night. Remember The weekend after Thanksgiving 07. This is becoming very similar to that except having the snow on Monday.

Upgraded to Winter Storm Warning... Snow totals expected by NWS are 2-4 inches in El Paso area, 4-6 inches in slightly higher elevations, and 8+ inches in mountains.
