I like El Paso way better than San Antonio. SA is just another big city - muggy hot summers no breeze. Denver has lots to do -great climate because winter is dry and there's lots to do outside of Denver. Las Vegas is intersting and has entertainment. Corpus is nice for the most part- but still hot and humid summers.

Well Denver is nice. It's a kinda big city, but feels like El Paso somewhat.
San Antonio doesnt have the big city feeling to me IMO

Just be careful because no place has the great weather we have here. San Antonio is hot and muggy but there's a lot to do depending on what it is you like to do. Phoenix is real hot and probably has enough to do but because El Paso has better weather, you can do more outdoors here than those places.

Right now because of all the federal money pouring in here because of the military expansion, there are more job opportunities here than many places.

You will have endless opportunities anywhere outside of El Paso. But if you want the El Paso feel then San Antonio, Phoenix, Albuquerque, and Denver would be your best bet.

Can I ask what is taking you out of El Paso?

I think you would really enjoy San Antonio, but what about El Paso has turned you off from the city?
