Well.......not a Stoops OU team.

Be interesting to see how Toby does against the OU defense. Bet he still puts up 200 yards. That guy is a beast.

I would love to see the Sun Bowl this year, it's a good matchup
unfortunately, I have to go to the Armed Forces Bowl with Air Force to play Houston
is there a concert at halftime again this year?

Great match up! Even though we didn't get USC, we still got Oklahoma and pits them up against a tough ranked team that features a Heisman Trophy candidate. Should be a sellout too. BTW its noon kickoff, not 2pm, thats a ET time zone.

Well it looks like it might only be the two school's marching bands performing for halftime entertainment. Not bashing the bands, I myself was in marching band while in High School, but I expect a concert as well. Last few Sun Bowls halftime shows have included:

09': ?
08': The Village People
07': Diamond Rio
06': Rihanna
05': Los Lonely Boys

Im excited to see OU and Stanford, I will make the trip down there this year again, I had lots of fun last year at the game. OU's quarterback is from Artesia so they got some Eastern NM connection/support right there, Im sure it will sell out.

SO, it the only half time show is the school bands, has anyone seen the Stanford band? Not your traditional university band and a reputation for irreverence and bawdiness (and at times inappropriateness). Well, if there is nothing else but the bands, then perhaps it is good they are coming to entertain.

That is a pretty good matchup, a heisman finalist and probably a few award winners in years to come at OU.
